Temporarily disabling Windows Update in Windows 10

When using vMix on Windows 10, you may want to temporarily disable Windows Update during a production or when you have a good known working setup.
 
To do this follow the steps below:
 
1. Right click the Start Menu and select Computer Management
2. In the left hand menu, click the arrow next to Services and Applications to open it up
3. Click Services
4. Scroll down the list and locate Windows Update and double click it
5. Set the Startup Type to Disabled and click OK
6. Restart the computer
 
This will now disable windows update, to enable it again follow steps 1-6 and set the Startup Type to Manual.
