An error may occur when adding a Camera input with certain AVerMedia cards

The following error may occur when adding a Camera input using certain AVerMedia Capture Cards:
 
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
 
Some cards require the audio device to be selected as well, so select the matching device from the Audio device dropdown instead of "Built in audio"
to resolve this error.
